Beyond Plagiarism Checkers: Reimagining Academic Integrity with AI

As AI tools become increasingly sophisticated and accessible, traditional approaches to assessment and maintaining academic integrity are being challenged. This interactive workshop will equip educators, assessment specialists, and academic leaders with practical methods to uphold academic honesty while leveraging AI’s potential in education.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Practical strategies for maintaining academic integrity in an AI-enhanced learning environment
  • Ethical implications of AI use in education and assessment
  • Demonstration of AI tools that support academic integrity
  • Collaborative sharing of participant-developed methods and best practice
