Writing with AI
This is a “tool box” session that will give teachers specific language, printouts, and sharable items that they can use on Monday with students. In this session, we will look at writing processes and consider when and how AI can and can’t be used. To do so, Alex will share handouts:
1. “TAPE” – this is a student-facing document that covers four major considerations: transparency, accuracy, process, and expectations of the teacher.
2. The AI Guide: Co-authored with Holly Clark, Alex will share a printed version of this 6-page document that breaks down TAPE. We will focus on Process and Expectations.
3. Writing with AI Cards: these cards are another way to create a process and set expectations around when and how AI can be used.
All materials for this session are available on www.withTAPE.com as well as the presentation shared in this session. Make sure to subscribe to unlock all the materials!
