The AIFE Student Leadership Conference brings together student leaders from international  schools across the region for two days of hands-on learning, dialogue, and leadership development centred on artificial intelligence in education.

Where the flagship AIFE conference equips educators to navigate AI, this student conference puts students at the centre — helping them build the confidence, skills, and frameworks to lead conversations at their own schools about the responsible, ethical, and productive use of AI.

Students arrive as delegates and leave as change-makers, ready to carry the conversation home.

Why It Matters

AI is reshaping how young people learn, create, find information, and make decisions, often faster than schools can respond. Students are already using these tools daily, yet they are rarely invited to help shape the norms, ethics, and practices around them. This conference provides students with the tools to lead and empower one another to share ethical, interactive, and productive AI practices with their peers to take back to their own schools.

What Students Will Experience

  • Leadership development

Facilitated by Inspire Citizens, who lead student leadership programs at schools worldwide, grounded in their “empathy to impact” changemaker model.

  • AI literacy in action

A hands-on exploration of ethical AI use, where students design and facilitate activities to teach these concepts to their peers.

  • Ethics & responsibility

Guided dialogue on bias, academic integrity, data privacy, and equitable access.

  • Peer collaboration

Connecting with student leaders from across the region to share perspectives and ideas.

  • A take-home action plan

Each delegation leaves with concrete ways to lead AI conversations back at their school.

  • Connections

A lasting community where schools and student leaders support one another before, during, and after the conference, sharing ideas and collaborating on ways to impact their own school cultures.

What Your School Gains

  • Empowered student leaders who return ready to facilitate peer learning and shape school culture around AI.
  • A student voice in your school’s evolving approach to AI and digital citizenship.
  • A connection to a growing regional network of schools committed to responsible AI in education.
  • A pathway that complements educator PD — pairing naturally with the AIFE educator conference for a whole-school approach.

Who Should Attend

Schools are invited to send a delegation of student leaders accompanied by an educator advisor. The summit is designed for middle and secondary students (8-12th grade or year 9 to 13) who are curious about AI, motivated to lead, and ready to bring ideas back to their communities.
