Designing for A.G.E.N.C.Y- Human-centered transformation in the Era of AI

Workshop Overview:

AI presents a binary choice for education: The Path of Control (bans, surveillance, and “red flag” policies) or The Path of Agency (empowerment, creation, and human-centered design).

This session delivers the “Macro-to-Micro” blueprint from the book Designing for A.G.E.N.C.Y., providing the specific frameworks needed to operationalize this shift. We move beyond reactive measures to build a resilient ecosystem using R.I.S.E. (Institutional Strategy), A.G.E.N.C.Y. (Pedagogical Design), and P.R.O.M.P.T. (Tactical Interaction) .

What You Will Do:

Vibe Code a Solution: Identify a common problem and use your intent to create a working solution with AI.
Design for Impact: Explore how Agentic AI can streamline decision-making, improve workflows, and accelerate your school’s ability to innovate
