Keeping Creativity Alive in the Age of AI
What can we do to maintain student creativity when a hastily written prompt can generate a unique image in seconds?
This session will explore that question and others. What is the difference between a unique image and an original one? Whose decisions are in the work? Where are the traps that let AI usurp creativity, and where are the springboards that push us further?
We’ll look at classroom examples, including educational videos, student films & artwork, reference images, and custom-built creative apps, and leave room for discussion.
Bring your own ideas, opinions, and examples. Let’s work through some of these questions together.
