Make It Matter
Assessment practice as we know it is a lost cause, so what do we do? We look to make education matter, measure what is truly important, what students do in the world with what they’ve learned. When a learner truly understands a concept there will be change in their behaviors and lives, change that AI cannot achieve or control for the learner. Through interactive workshopping and guided discussions participants work to make the content they are teaching matter to the learner, to the world, and to their grade books!

MYP Coordinator, IGB
A career in low resource contexts, such as the rural villages of Madagascar to conflict heavy streets of Myanmar, balanced by time in leading international schools means that Danny sees the world from a unique perspective; one where all individuals have a shared responsibility and power to make the world a better place. Leveraging social enterprise experience, community partnerships, and cross-curricular knowledge Danny leads in both international school settings and local projects and programs to empower educators and learners to see their role in the systems that are shaping our world.
