Silky Vyas is the Librarian and EE Coordinator at the American International School of Guangzhou. A lifelong learner, she is an ISTE-certified educator, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer, and a Positive Peer Coach. Silky actively collaborates with teachers, fostering a culture of shared goals and teamwork. She is particularly focused on integrating technology and information fluency skills into the curriculum, keeping the audience informed and aware.
In her previous roles, she has served as the Head of Information Services and as a Technology Coach, demonstrating her expertise in these areas. Silky coaches both classroom and specialist teachers on using technology to design, adapt, and personalize learning experiences for all students, empowering them to become independent learners. She is particularly interested in Universal Design for Learning and innovative technologies, such as artificial intelligence and personalized learning tools. She utilizes immersive and accessible technology to engage every learner effectively.
