Empowering the Future: Navigating AI Literacy in The Digital Era
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping economies, education, and human interaction on a global scale, prompting schools to rethink their role in preparing learners for an AI-driven world. As nations race to integrate AI into their systems, educators face a pressing question: Should we teach AI literacy, and if so, how? If the answer is yes, then students must develop not only technical competencies but also ethical leadership, critical thinking, and lifelong adaptability, skills essential for thriving in an era defined by the advancement of technologies.
This session explores how schools can navigate the complex AI landscape through a global lens, balancing innovation with ethics, inclusion, and equity. It examines the far-reaching impacts of AI on this current society and the impact on learners, and the actionable steps for moving forward.
