The AI Applicant
Are AI college counseling chatbots helpful for parents? Should an applicant use AI to outline an application essay? How can teachers use AI to write more effective (and efficient) letters of recommendation that admissions officers will actually read? Should schools implement a tech graduation requirement? Starting with a brief overview of available AI tools and university policies on the use of AI, we will collaboratively evaluate how school leaders, teachers, and counselors can support college applicants in a rapidly evolving global admissions landscape. Through this one-hour Think Tank, we will collaboratively align policy and practice as it relates to course planning, counseling, well-being, integrity, and college admissions.
