Little Inventors, Big Ideas: AI Prototypes in Kindergarten
In this session, participants will explore how kindergarten students became toy designers by creating original sketches in the Sketches School app and specifying materials and packaging for their designs. The teacher then will use an AI tool and carefully crafted prompts to transform each student sketch into realistic toy images that incorporated the students’ specified materials, colors, and packaging. This lesson will foster creativity, design thinking, and student voice. Participants will learn which prompts yield the best results and how to guide young learners in understanding the designer’s process.
